Born in Essen, Germany. Cello

During his classical education he participated in various orchestras playing concerts of Ravel, Beethoven and Wagner. After some years living in France and Spain he moved to Berlin in 2003. Beside his work as a musician he is working as an architect together with architect Rut de la Calle in his own office brethdelacalle Architekten at Berlin.

Combining the classical sounds of the Cello with electronic influences he creates unusual audio-sourroundings in interaction with other disciplines, working on the aspect of improvisation with dancers and painters. His music is created in the moment, impredictable, an individual interpretation of the present.
